A.S.K 2011 - Hope Unlimited CAMP

Themed around Matthew 7:7 ( “Keep on ASKING and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on SEEKING and you will find. Keep on KNOCKING and the door will be opened.’ ) A.S.K 2011 is Hope Unlimited’s annual youth camp.

This year we are thrilled to be hosting, Special Guests, Cameron Bennett - Youth Alive Director QLD/NT & Ben Higgins - Youth Alive Worship Leader . We all know and love Cameron and are pumped to have him back for this years camp. We also know that Ben is really going to bring another dynamic to ASK 2011, we are going to a place we have never been before.

Expect the unexpected. Be ready for life transformation, new friends, huge tribal wars and a whole heap of fun. Start ASKing God now for what He has in store for you @ A.S.K 2011.

God has a massive plan and purpose for YOUR life! I believe when you look back on A.S.K 2011, you will remember it as pivotal moment in your walk with God.

Last week at The S.T.A.N.D we launched the name of the youth group. Hope Unlimited.

Hope Unlimited is inspired by the Scripture Ephesians 3:20 which says ...

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more (an unlimited life) than we might ask or think.

As we launched the name we spoke about not living a limited life - and that we have as young people in relationship with God access to an unlimited life. The limitations that we can sometimes live under rather than above inhibit the fullness of life that Christ came to give us.

The Hope Unlimited leadership team is phenomenal - all with hearts sold out to seeing the best for the Youth. I am proud to lead such a team and we each have expectant hearts are already seeing the Youth have the same expectations ... wanting, believing and always hoping to live Hope Unlimited.

Watch this space - because it's gonna boom!

Always Hope!

Hope City Church corporate fast ... 21 Days

http://www.jentezenfranklin.org/fasting/

What are you believing God for this year?

The above website is a great resource to look at and learn more about fasting ...

This year as in the past year together both at Malak and Palmerston Campuses we are setting aside the first 21 Days of February to fast together and we invite you to join us.

As we read out the praise reports each Sunday morning and evening across the campuses we believe that certainly the 21 Day fast has been a key for those testimonies, praise reports, miracles and breakthroughs.

Check out the above website and look at some things maybe you can do this year for the fast - and be encouraged, but also be expectant.

Jesus didn't ask us to fast ... He said "When you fast ..." So be expectant for 2011 for what God will do in your life.

Always Hope!

Service Times - Changing in February

Starting from the first weekend in February the Sunday Service Time at Malak will change from 9.30 am to 10.30 am ... (9.45 am morning tea leading into 10.30 worships service starting)

This is exciting as it allows both campuses to hear the same message/preacher/teacher for the Sunday morning services, which allows our Hope City Connect groups to be all on the same page when we meet together.

One of the things that is done extremely well at Hope City Malak Campus is its culture of community and fellowship over coffee time. First time visitors often comment on how wonderful this time is.

Hope City Malak will start from 9.45 am onwards serving coffee / tea and raisen toast ... with a view of starting the actual worship service at 10.30 am

This also enables people to invite friends and experience that cultre of fellowship from the start ... which then leads into worship and the gospel message.

Looking forward to a great year across both of the Hope City Church Campuses ... as we are the One Church, Two Campuses.

Always Hope!
